Job Description: PERSONAL ASSISTANT I was a personal assistant in my most recent salary job. I enjoyed being a personal assistant but did not like working for my boss. My boss was the CEO of a real estate company in St. Louis. Have you ever had a job like this where you liked the job and disliked the boss? If so, I feel your pain. A Personal Assistant is a person who works for someone else and assists them throughout the day in most of what they have to do . A personal assistant (PA) typically carries out administrative work on behalf of one individual. This individual is usually a manager or executive in a company, or a person who can afford to have a personal assistant to help them in various tasks, on a daily basis. Book Blog

I have started reading "How I killed Pluto and Why It had It Coming" and so far, I like it. I am only a chapter and a half in.  After Professor Hansen gave a brief summary of this book in class, I knew I would want to read it at some point so what better time than now. I live less than a mile from the California Institute of Technology. This is where professor Mike Brown, the writer of this memoir, worked. My sister is also in the astronomy world and I live with her. She works at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA) In Pasadena. NASA is associated with Cal-Tech in many of their projects, so I often hear about new or old space activities from my sister. I liked the tone of this book. English being my second language, I am not a fan of reading but this book has me captured so far.It is not too intense for me to understand. I am sure I will be talking about this book with my sister and get her feed back.  It was  intersting  to learn that the seven days of t...

Who You Are MATTERS

I come from Tehran, the capital city of Iran. I am the youngest of 6. I grew up with my two siblings until we all moved to the U.S. for a better education and to be with the rest of my siblings, who are half American-half Iranian. I don't exactly know where I am going or where I will end up, but I hope to be happy, healthy and successful in the future. I own my own freelance Graphic Design business now and hope to expand that. I am planning to get there by finishing my degree here at USC. Both of my parents are very kind and generous. I find myself to be a lot like my mom, in the way she always helps people. If she sees you need help, she tries her best and goes out of her way to help you. I think I am selfless like my mom.I don't feel like I am unlike my parents in any way. At this age, I don't think I am operating under someone else's expectations except for myself. When I was younger, I thought my family had expectations from me to succeed in a certain way, es...
